Did you know that CVS will honor competitor coupons for prescriptions? If you need a new prescription, take it to CVS. In most Sunday newspapers there is often a coupon for receiving a gift card with a new or transferred prescription. Take this coupon to CVS with your prescription. Even if you use insurance to pay for the prescription you will receive a gift card in the amount of the coupon. Rite Aid flyers are usually the most frequent supplier of coupons. Every time I see their coupons, I clip them and hold on to them in case I need them. The last time I filled a prescription at CVS, my insurance copay was $4.53. I gave them a coupon from Rite Aid that said “transfer or bring a new prescription to Rite Aid and receive a $25 gift card”. CVS gave me a $25 gift card that I then used to pay for my deals at CVS. You can’t use the gift card to pay for the current copay. You can however, use the gift card to pay for future prescription copays. Target often has prescription coupons in their flyers as well.
Head to Vocal Point to get a coupon for $1.00/1 StarKist. StarKist is often on sale for $1.00 at Kroger and Meijer and other grocery stores. Print this coupon and hang on to it. You should be able to score some free tuna! While there, sign up for Vocal Point. This is a great site. I often find high value coupons and samples at this site.
Target has Lean Cuisine frozen meals on sale for $1.88 this week. You can use a coupon found here to get $1.00 off the price. It is a Target coupon so it can be combined with a manufacturer coupon as well. There is a coupon for $2/3 Lean Cuisine meals in the September edition of All You Magazine. Bottom line: $0.88 for a Lean Cuisine meal with only the target coupon or $0.21 when combined with the manufacturer coupon.
Sign up here to have a free Proctor and Gamble $15 coupon book mailed to your home. It comes from Save-a-Lot but these are manufacturer coupons that can be used at any store. Some stores may not accept them, but I have never had a store refuse them.
