I am looking for some new blogs to follow. So, I thought you might want to link up your blog here for others to find/follow you too. Come back next Thursday and link up! I’m am going to make this a weekly feature.
A few weeks ago I was pleasantly surprised when I opened my mailbox. There was a huge package inside from Glue Dots Adhesives and TwitterMoms and it was full of Glue Dots! TwitterMoms and Glue Dots® Adhesives have teamed up to bring lots of Moms a fun and creative Summer Bonding Project! Glue Dots are a great and safe alternative to typical tapes and glue guns. They are versatile and work on a variety of surfaces including: paper/photos, metal, wood, plastic, textiles and fibers, plastic, foam, and more! Glue Dots are a no-mess solution to all adhesive or glue needs. Bonding instantly, they require no dry time and provide instant gratification for kids and adults. Glue Dots provide the strength you need in an adhesive without the mess and dry time of liquid glues.
You can find Glue Dots on Facebook. While you are there, you will be able to find more ideas of what you can do with Glue Dots.
My daughter and I started scrapbooking about a year ago and we are definitely novices. I am embarrassed to say we didn’t even know that Glue Dots existed! We have been using liquid glue sticks. So, with much anticipation and apprehension, we opened the Glue Dots, and gave them a try. Wow! They were so easy to use. No mess, no mistakes – that’s a first for the both of us! We centered the nose of the roller on our paper and pulled the dispenser towards us. So simple! We are both definitely sold on Glue Dots. No more glue sticks for us.
I am working on a photo album that details events from last summer.
Visit Twitter Moms to learn more about Glue Dots. While you are there, I recommend that you join. It is a great community of women and you will find lots of opportunities to connect with brands.
I wrote this blog post while participating in the TwitterMoms and Glue Dots blogging contest to be eligible to receive a $30 gift card. For more information on how you can participate, click here.
There will be 1 insert in this Sunday’s newspaper – 1 Procter & Gamble.
Go here for a sneek peak of the coupons in this insert. Since there is little variation in P&G coupon inserts, I will not be posting the actual coupon variations this Sunday. Let’s all enjoy the 4th of July instead.
I finally have over 350 followers on Twitter! 🙂 Thank you to everyone. So, as promised, I am giving away a $5.00 code to Amazon.com. The winner is (chosen randomly using random.org)……….
Amber who said “I follow you on twitter as “Amber01sw”. Amber has been notified by e-mail and has 48 hours to get back to me – otherwise a new winner will be drawn. Congratulations Amber.
A big thank you to all my followers!
I am reposting this as I have been notified that Nielsen Home Scan is still looking for households to join their program. I enjoy this program and if it is something that you may be interested in, I encourage you to apply. 🙂
I have been participating with Nielsen Home Scan (now called NCP) for approximately ten months now. It takes a little time but I am enjoying it. I already have enough points that I could get a really great prize – However, I am saving for one of the bigger prizes. Prizes include Dooney and Bourke purses, Kate Spade purses (I have a definite weakness for designer purses), XBox 360, and a Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer (I bought one of these in November – free would have been better) just to name a few. There are appliances, electronics, toys, home furnishings, tools, travel items, and the list goes on……..
The process is really quite simple:
- Scan anything you buy that has a bar code with the scanner supplied by Nielsen
- Enter the price of the item (not necessary for Kroger and Meijer – the two grocery stores that I use)
- Enter coupons
- Enter total amount paid
- Enter payment method
- Place scanner back in stand
Once per week the scanner sends the data automatically through my cable Internet connection. I do not have to do anything. I also fill out online surveys through their website and receive bonus points for completing the surveys. If I scan every week (and I have) I receive bonus points at the end of the month. There are also opportunities to win money – not happened to me yet – but there are weekly winners.
If you have ever thought about applying to do this, I really encourage you to do so. It doesn’t cost you anything except a bit of time. I hear that younger children really enjoy helping scan the items (of course my 21 year old does not!).
Go here to apply to be in the program.
